Normally I wouldn’t bother mentioning an update in the App Store for a game. Especially a game like Pocket God, but this update is a little special. A little backstory for those who are unfamiliar with Pocket God. Pocket God [$0.99] is a very popular “game” by Bolt Creative that features 6 pygmy’s and their [...]
Background for Those Who Know and Love Soulver I started putting this review together around March 15, 2010. At the time, the current version of Soulver was 1.4.4, which was released around March, 2007. Frankly, other than the iPhone version, I thought the project was dead. I mean, come on. No update in three years? [...]
We talked about SimplifyMedia as an alternative to iTunes in the cloud during yesterday’s podcast and Dave asked me to update the thread with information about the application. So, I went to SimplifyMedia’s website and found this: After developing the technology behind Simplify Media for over 4 years, it is time for us to take [...]

According to AppleInsder, WiFi Sync, while requiring separate desktop software, will allow you to sync your iPhone/iPad over a wireless network. You can see a video here. My prediction is that this app gets rejected, so look for it on Cydia in the near future. This will be a must-have app.
Mike Ash from Rogue Amoeba has written an incredibly insightful article about the problems with Apple’s App Store and what Apple should be doing to make things right. The analogy using the KLM 747 plane crash and what was done to determine why that crash happened and what needed to be done to attempt to [...]
I suspect that this will be going on for quite some time to come. Twittelator Pro has released an update that adds (to name a few): Instapaper Mobilizer Searching any timeline with a new search field at the top of the screen Geotag tweets “fuzzily” to your neighborhood or city to protect privacy Unread tweets [...]
I just want to say up front that this article is not a review of Reeder. More a first impression. I just downloaded Reeder yesterday (3/27/2010). So I haven’t had very much time to find out about all of Reeder’s beauty or it’s drawbacks. I’m not really sure what inspired me to check out Reeder [...]
