The latest news in the conspiracy that Apple is trying to take out Adobe by not allowing flash on it’s iOS devices is that the European Union is joining the investigation. AppAdvice.com has the article about this.
I’m a little confused here. Since when is it illegal for a company to decide what software goes on it’s hardware? Doesn’t Apple have the right to decide that Adobe Flash is too CPU hungry for it’s iPhone/iPod touch/iPad devices?
What is the point of the investigation? To determine if Apple has a monopoly in the mobile device market? Well, that’s easy! It doesn’t!
The article has a typo saying that “the FCC started investigating Apple in June.” I am guessing that it was supposed to be “FTC”.
If Apple is forced to allow Adobe to put Flash on the iOS devices, will this give the porn industry an in for the iPhone/iPod touch/iPad as well? Not to mention all the other apps that have previously been rejected by Apple…
