Bloomberg has an article about yet another Apple lawsuit. Apple is such a beloved target of lawyers and lawsuits. Now, a lawsuit has been filed and is looking for class-action status, for overheating when in direct sunlight/warm weather conditions.
Apple clearly states in it’s Environmental requirements:

So, I’m not entirely sure what people consider “reasonable consumer’s expectations”, but I would think that the requirements posted by Apple are more than reasonable.
Why is it that the iPad is the center of this lawsuit when Apple’s notebooks have pretty much the same requirements:

I haven’t heard of anyone suing Apple over the MacBook line of computers overheating/shutting when trying to use them in “warm” conditions or direct sunlight.
Plus, who uses any backlit LCD screen in direct sunlight? It’s nearly impossible. Why not sue LCD manufacturers over that problem?
