According to Daring Fireball, citing Jim Dalrymple:
Apple would only say that the press conference would be regarding the iPhone 4. No other information was available when I spoke with them tonight.
AppleInsider goes on to say that the conference is presumably to address “the growing array of allegations from the media over the handset’s reception woes.”
I think that’s a safe assumption, and if true, it’ll be interesting to hear Apple’s response. Somehow I don’t think you’ll hear “Don’t hold it that way.”
