Instapaper Pro 2.2 is available for download. This release, months in development, contains many improvements and additions. A choice of pagination or tilt scrolling and a built-in dictionary with definitions from Wiktionary. Graphical Mode has been removed, allowing much faster article downloads (thank all that’s holy), a new in-app browser allowing online access to anything. [...]

Apple took down the latest iPhone/iPod touch/iPad SDK 3.2 beta 3 shortly after it was released. Apparently, Apple slipped up a bit and had code for a camera in the iPad that probably shouldn’t have been active. Picture via: 9to5Mac.com I don’t know if this means that there will be a camera of some time [...]
According to AppleInsider: Apple’s iTunes Music Store sold its 10 billionth song Wednesday afternoon, with the milestone being reached nearly seven years after the digital music download destination was introduced. Some lucky person, possibly my new best friend, has won a $10,000 iTunes gift card. The winner has not yet been announced. Congrats to As-Yet-Unknown-Purchaser [...]

Seemingly out of nowhere, TechCrunch is reporting that ngmoco was able to raise another $25 million in funding (totaling $40.6 million) and went out and purchased Freeverse with it.Via: AppAdvice.com I wonder if this is just the start [...]
Update: Apple’s Phil Schiller explains why the ban on “Sexy” apps: It came to the point where we were getting customer complaints from women who found the content getting too degrading and objectionable, as well as parents who were upset with what their kids were able to see. We obviously care about developers, but in [...]

This is an “extremely” basic look at all the items available on the iTunes Music Store/AppStore called iTunes Preview. I have to hope that Apple will do some major work to this site to improve it’s looks. It’s pretty spartan right now. No graphics or icons except for the three main sections of the store [...]
I found an interesting website not long ago called AppTipp.com. Its basically a Digg.com for applications in Apple’s AppStore. Registered users can submit applications with a short description. Other users can then increase the “Tipps” count by clicking on the current Tipps count. Users can also discuss applications with comments. Pretty basic, but it’s not [...]
This is not a review. This is a semi-rant. I’m a journaling kind of person. Or, at least, I’m trying to be one. However, I’ve found that actually picking up a pencil, opening a notebook, and writing doesn’t work for me. Sure, I love the feel of a good pencil against quality paper, but it’s [...]
